The Lange Code 120 BOA LV GW Ski Boots represent an evolution of Lange's hybrid XT3 design, delivering improved downhill performance with a seriously capable walk mode. The line features a completely overhauled walk mode designed for greater strength and performance. Active Blade technology uses an internal spoiler to maintain a fixed-cuff feel and powerful energy transmission while skiing, then pairs with an elastomer insert at the shell connection for a progressive, natural flex on the way up — a first-of-its-kind combination in a hybrid boot. The Friction Free Hinge improves efficiency for fluid movement on the skintrack, and the BOA® fit lower shell dials in precision closure without fumbling with buckles at the trailhead. Shell Materials
Dual Core Technology – A new "Power Injection" method allows Lange to inject two different durometers of plastic simultaneously through 5 injection ports, with the two plastics being directed to specific parts of the boot. The harder plastic goes to the heel, spine and lower shell to retain stiffness, while the softer plastic goes to areas that wrap the foot and lower leg for comfort.
